Johnny D este un nume proaspat pe piata muzicala din romania, insa cu o experienta vasta in lumea show-bizului. Cunoscut sub numele de Piticu’, membru component al trupei Simplu, artist Cat Music si Dog Music, debuteaza in cariera solo cu single-ul Bye Bye.

Între anii 1996-2004, Mario V a făcut parte din trupa Anturaj, care la sfârşitul anului 2000, semnează cu CASA, aceasta fiind casa de producţie B.U.G. Mafia.
Piesele “Adevărul Costă Scump”, semnată Anturaj și “Îngeri Pierduţi”, semnată Caddy feat. Grasu XXL şi Mario V, au fost primele două apariţii pe un material discografic produs de CASA incluse pe compilaţia “B.U.G. MAFIA prezintă Casa”. Acest material a avut ca scop promovarea artiştilor semnaţi de labelul B.U.G. Mafia şi a fost cea mai vândută compilaţie de Hip-Hop autohton din toate timpurile cu peste 100.000 de copii vândute.
Proiectele în care Mario V a luat parte, au fost de mare anvergură. În 2004 Mario V a fost invitat de Tataee pe piesa “40 Km/h”, de pe albumul “Băieţi Buni”, semnat B.U.G. Mafia. Tot în 2004, trupa Anturaj se desfiinţează, dar Mario V rămâne alături de Casa Productions şi la scurt timp apare pe remix-ul piesei “Zi-mi De Unde Eşti”, inclus pe albumul “Asalt Raggafonic” al trupei M&G. Mario V notează cu această ocazie şi prima apariţie într-un videoclip.
În 2005, B.U.G. Mafia lanseazã single-ul “Strazile”, avându-l pe Mario V pe refren, iar piesa apare pe coloana sonoră a serialului “Baieţii Buni”, realizat şi difuzat de către PRO TV.

Cu o viziune inovatoare asupra muzicii, un stil ce imbina ritmurile latino cu elemente ale folclorului balcanic si o cariera ce insumeaza aproape un deceniu de aparitii live pe cele mai importante scene, Mandinga da astazi tonul la Europarty.
